Hello to Amy Z's family and friends!
I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to create a surprise video for Amy’s 55th birthday and would love you to be a part of it!
Wait—what's this about—and how do I sign up? 😊
I’m Donna, one of Amy’s friends and your video wrangler. I’m doing super-quick Zoom recordings with Amy's friends and family to create a short surprise birthday video made up of joyful clips and favorite moments.
IMPORTANT: This won’t be a full interview, performance, or speech, nothing for you to prepare. Think highlight reel: short, heartfelt (or funny!) bits, just a couple of seconds each, from everyone.
We’re on a tight timeline and need to get all recordings done by August 1st, so be sure to sign up now through the “How to schedule a Zoom time” link way below, and check out the “What will we do on Zoom?” section too!
How long will this take?
The Zoom will take about 5-10 minutes, but please allow up to 15, just in case.
Can others join me?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to set up a Zoom session with me on your own or, if you’re part of a group, you can Zoom together on one screen with others in the same room OR invite up to 2 people/groups to join from other locations (for a total of 3 Zoom screens max, including yours).
How to schedule a Zoom time (☆ and an important note!)

Once you click:
- Choose a date and time, then click “Next”
- Enter your name, email, and phone number
- Enter your phone a second time to receive a text reminder ... it's a tight schedule with back-to-back sessions, so we need everyone to be prompt!
- Want others to join? Click “Add Guests” and include up to 2 email addresses
- Click “Schedule Event” and you'll receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom link
☆ IMPORTANT: Don’t see the email with the Zoom link? Check your spam or junk folder! Need help? Call or text me at my number below.
What will we do on Zoom?
I’ll ask a few quick questions like “What’s a word you’d use to describe Amy?” or “What’s something you love about her?” … and a few surprises to keep things interesting. (I can’t say more, but maybe make a little space to move your arms. 😉)
Remember: we’re not capturing full speeches. I’ll be pulling tiny gems, maybe just a few seconds, from each session to create something fun and meaningful for Amy.
Have a photo or fun Amy-related object?
If you’ve got a favorite photo or item that reminds you of Amy, feel free to email or text it to me...or just hold it up when we Zoom. Totally optional.
